ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
My name is Victor Klunk and I am currently employed as a Program Manager with Florida Commerce.
I am a proven leader with effective communication skills who consistently creates ways to engage and motivate my team, as well as our stakeholders. I have led high level diverse teams ranging from analyzing Current Employment and Local Area Unemployment Statistics, identifying trends with the Florida economy and its industries; dealing with Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, collecting and meeting federal deliverables; to maintaining rigorous standards to prevent Reemployment Assistance fraud, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
I come from a military family and, for the most part, am a Tallahassee native. In 2007 I graduated Wiesbaden High School in Wiesbaden, Germany before moving back to Tallahassee to attend my alma mater, Florida State University. I graduated from FSU with a BA in Political Science, and a couple of years later went back to receive my MA in International Affairs.
Outside of work most of my time is spent with family – my four-year-old daughter, wife, and two dogs. We enjoy making the most of the nature around us and spending time on the water. If we aren’t exploring locally, we enjoy visiting our friends who have moved all around the nation, attending almost all of Florida State’s sporting events, and appreciating time with friends and family locally.
